Riteish and Genelia Deshmukh co-founded Imagine meats have tied up with world-renowned coffee chain Starbucks to get vegan food on the menu. Starbucks will most likely sell vegan hummus kebab wraps, vegan croissant buns and vegan sausage croissant rolls. In locations like Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru, Kolkata, Goa, Hyderabad, Pune, Noida and Jaipur.
The products of Imagine meats are made with no cholesterol, animal hormones or antibiotics according to the co-founder Riteish Deshmukh. Sushant Dash, Chief Executive Officer, Tata Starbucks further said the market for vegan products is estimated at 200-300 Crore. In western countries, Starbucks has partnered with companies like Beyond Meat.
This turns out to be good news for health enthusiasts, vegans, environmentalists and of course animal lovers.
